Peg Strimel is the creative force behind The Gigi Jewelry Collection.  Called "Gigi" by her family, Peg has combined her extroidinary sense of color and style with her decades long love of crafts to delve into the artistic world of jewelry design. 

A serious back injury five years ago resulting in eight major surgeries left Peg unable to continue her management career in the financial industry.  In an attempt to occupy her time during her slow rehabilitation and to redirect her irrespressible energy, Peg began designing beautifuly unique jewelry for herself and her family and friends.  Positive word of mouth began to spread about Peg's impressive talents, and soon she began receiving requests for custom design work.  Each of Peg's pieces are uniquely designed and handcrafted, and no two pieces are exactly alike.

Peg believes that especially in today's economy, many women may feel uncomfortable buying that pricey new outfit, so the next best thing is to buy a beautiful piece of jewelry to give new life to her wardrobe. 

Peg uses the best quality materials available at the best possible price.  She buys her stunning beads from all over the world, including Europe, Austrailia and Africa.  She also designs with Swarovski crystal and she will work with silver by request.  All of her jewelry features swivel lobster clasps or toggle clasps to increase the safety of your precious designer jewelry. 

Peg's jewelry is so beautifully made and well-crafted that she confidently offers free repairs on any of her designs that require repair for reasons other than normal wear and tear. 

Peg accepts custom jewelry design orders as well, and will also design jewlery for wedding parties and other special events.
